The LGFA player injury fund entitles all female players injured during an official GAA match or training session to 90% off medical treatment including physiotherapy up to a maximum of €5,500. This is a fantastic underused resource that all ladies and girl players are entitled to.
Early appropriate management of any ache or pain apparent during training or a game can be quickly assessed and treated. This will assure the player returns to full playing capacity quickly and can prevent what appears to be a simple injury becoming chronic. A stitch in time saves nine!!!
If you have or are an injured player all you need to do is book in at the link above and we will handle the rest
Alternatively send us the name and phone number of the player or the guardian in the case of under 16's and we will take it from there
There is no approval required if the treatment total will be less than €200 which will cover most simple pains and strains sustained. If it is expected to take longer and/or require input from other medical proffesionals we will submit a form to be approved.
